Avery Melroy is a Production Manager, Stage Manager, and Director based in Ypsilanti. He is an MFA Candidate at Eastern Michigan University studying Applied Drama & Theatre for the Young, which is one of only eight graduate programs in the nation focused on theatre for young audiences. Along with his role at TCDC, Avery also serves as both a Production Manager at the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre and the Business Manager for EMU's Theatre for the Young Tour. He received a BS in Early Childhood Education from the University of Findlay in 2023. After graduation, Avery hopes to work at a theatre for young audiences as a curriculum developer.
