Danielle Simpson
Front of House
Danielle Simpson is a Metro Detroit-based educator with a strong belief in community, curiosity, comedy, and showing up fully - both in and out of the classroom. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on International Studies from Wayne State University before beginning a career in market research. She later followed her passions into education, completing a post-baccalaureate elementary teaching certification at Eastern Michigan University. Danielle keeps a full calendar and wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s often hosting gatherings, planning events, or catching a Detroit City Football Club match. She values connection, creativity, and being someone others can count on. Whether Danielle is in the classroom, her community, or around a table with friends, she brings energy, thoughtfulness, and a dose of trivia to everything she does. Cousin of Front of House Manager Kara Hay, and friend of Artistic Director/Founder Brent Whitney, Danielle officially joined the Traverse City Dance Project in 2026 to bring together her love for the arts, people, and places that feel like home.
