Seeking a Summer Production Intern July 24th - August 8th
The Traverse City Dance Project is currently in our 13th exciting season! The TCDP gathers professional dance artists from companies around the country for a summer residency in Traverse City, MI. Our 2024 season will include dance pieces by both new and returning choreographers, as well as musical collaborations with Jordan Hamilton. We are seeking a production intern this summer to help with a variety of tasks, including:
Production set up/strike
Filming rehearsals
Front of house
Back of house
Load In & Out
Must be able to lift over 50lbs
Ideal candidate is a local university student or recent graduate interested in stage production. Intern must be well organized and adaptable to changes in season schedule. Intern will report to the Production Director Chris Jones. The position is unpaid, but will be reimbursed for travel costs. It is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable technical experience with a vibrant and growing grassroots dance company, in a beautiful setting!
